What it Is and Who is Eligible
The program facilitates access to Cleveland Clinic specialists to provide diagnostic review, evaluation of treatment options, and patient education.
The Clinical Review benefit is available to LCSC medical plan participants, age 18 or older, with an existing diagnosis and treatment recommendation. This program is available to all adult plan participants, even members using University Hospitals, MetroHealth, or another health system.
The Process
Cleveland Clinic reviews participants' medical records, offers insights on treatment options, and coordinates specialist referrals if needed. If a participant opts for Cleveland Clinic care, a representative assists with next steps.
Coordination With Your Existing Provider
The service collaborates with your existing specialists to enhance patient care but is not available for acutely ill individuals needing urgent attention. Any services beyond Clinical Review are billed to insurance.
